Kiahuna means "Special Place" in Hawaiian. The beach houses are located on a lush 35 acres of tropical flowers and lawns next to the beach that was honored with the title "#1 beach in the world" by the Travel Channel. The resort definitely lives up to its Hawaiian name!!

We have been coming to this resort since I was a child. It is the site of wonderful vacation memories. I now bring my wife and two children at least once a year and they love it as much as I do.

In general, the beach houses at Kiahuna are nice - each one must meet standards to be included in the rental pool. Each beach house is individually owned, and thus, furnishings vary from beach house to beach house. I recommend finding a beach house that is nice and trying to rent directly from the owner. You'll save money and know exactly where you will be staying. One of the units that has recently been completely refurbished and is quite lovely is owned by the Goldblum's.
