Pros: Amazing rooms, spectacular views, beautiful beaches, A+ Customer service Cons: For some it's a bit pricey
While planning my wedding, I was looking in the back of the wedding magazines for honeymoon packages (the BEST place to find that stuff, by the way).. and I came across a full page ad for the Fiesta Americana Grand Coral Beach. The picture they had was...
Pros: Romantic, awesome service, great location, sandy beach Cons: Hard beds, expensive, not a real Mexican experience
I visited Cancun, Mexico September 5-11, 2005 for my honeymoon. I had been there in November and enjoyed the area so much I just had to go back and bring my new husband with me. This trip was just as wonderful as the last! They were two completely ...
Pros: Great location, beautiful property, right on the beach, fantastic service. Cons: Fairly expensive.
I just returned from a four night stay at the Fiesta Americana Grand Coral in Cancun and here are my impressions: Overall: this is a great hotel although I wish it were part of the hotel chains I collectively stay over 200 nights per year (Marriott ...
Pros: Beautiful rooms and pool area Cons: Beverages and meals are overpriced
We stayed at the FAGCB, 2/11 - 2/16/2004. It had been nearly (10) years since we last visited Cancun and we were anxiously looking to return. During our stay, we had reserved a Master Suite, smoking room. Upon check-in, we were advised only (2) Suites ...
Pros: Secluded feel but right in the best spot in Cancun. Beautiful beaches and fabulous rooms. Cons: Wish the evening food selection was better, seafood vs. Italian and Mexican
What a great resort. Everything you need is right there. My favorite part about the hotel was the room. I love the all tile floor (no gross carpet to step on) and the separate dining area in the room. I don't know if we had a standard room, but I'm ...
Pros: Great beach. Great pool area. Beautiful, clean and comfortable rooms. Great service. Cons: Expensive drinks.
My husband and I were at FA Coral Beach 2 weeks ago and we loved it. The resort was beautiful and clean. We had a room with an extra large balcony, and we spent several evenings in chaise lounge chairs listening to the waves.
Pros: large rooms, lots of marble, fantastic bathrooms, great service Cons: spread out - lots of walking
This is a fantastic property. Both the facility and staff are excellent. It's not cheap, but in this case you get what you pay for. It is a large resort with lots of group business, so you may feel like your with a convention. However, the staff does...
Pros: An exquisite property in a great location. Cons: Pray that you don't have a problem and need respectable assistance.
This is an exquisite property in a great location. Probably the best pool and beach area in Cancun. No hot tubs or cabanas but a pristine area with manicured grounds and great use of area. For a larger resort the pool area is very intimate.

Pros: Beautiful pools!!!! Really nice rooms. The best service. The Best place to stay in Cancun. Cons: little kids begging for money outside hotel. Not U.S.

Pros: Excellent service. Great restaurants. Love being pampered. Not expensive at all. Cons: Vacation too short next time staying longer.
I just came back from vacation at the Fiesta Americana Grand Coral Beach. I was there the week of 8/20-8/26. In June I was at the Atlantis in Paradise Island and I was planning on going back in December but now that I've been to the Grand Coral Beach I'm ...
A beautiful resort with great location on the Cancun Hotel strip. by baberj ,Apr 30 '08
Pros: Great staff, rooms, food, etc. Happy with service 2 years in a row. Cons: Strict dress codes can take away from some of the relaxation on a vacation.
We stayed here the past 2 years since my husband won trips for work. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The resort is clean and has the nicest rooms I've ever seen. There are several places to eat, all with great food.
The best hotel in Cancun ! by garyepinions2 ,Apr 11 '05
Pros: Cancun at it's best: location, sea, service, rooms ! Cons: No LaIsla & park Nizuk around the corner !
We stay in FACB every year for about 6 years - either Thanksgiving week or close to XMas. This year, we'll come again in December. Best location in Cancun: several nice restaurants around, malls, one can jet ski to the lagoon from here, hotel's lagoon is calm too (the best beach). You need waves - around the corner ! Some of the best restaurants in Cancun. Best pools ! Very nice ocean-view rooms ! One of the best spas ! About the best water-sports (jet ski, water ski- you do not have to go to the lagoon). Tennis courts - covered ! Best breakfast in Cancun !!! Friendliest service ! About the best general appearance - classic and cozy at the same time.
I am comparing with JW Marriott, Ritz, Melia, Hilton, Sheraton, other FA's. Other hotels are just at the sea - no calm waters. This one has more than others. Even my 12 year old daughter thinks this is the ONLY hotel if you go to Cancun. She loves jet ski, dolphins, XelHa, and other places too. Even currency exchange there has the best rate in Cancun (or about the best). Great hotel.
Fantastic pool. Loved the rooms and the service. by ealterb ,Jan 20 '04
Pros: Extraordinary pool. Stunning views. Great service. Lovely spacious rooms. Very clean. Cons: Pricey, limited dining in hotel.
The FA Coral Beach is a lovely resort. The pool was stunning; probably the biggest pool complex I've ever seen. The deck area tends to be in the shade, making it temperate and delightful all day long. The beach is a little rocky, but overall, satisfactory. We also enjoyed the rooms, which are over-sized, each with a nice sitting area and oceanview balcony.
Another unique feature were the indoor tennis courts. Most hotels offer tennis, but it's usually too hot to play. This was an added bonus.
The service is excellent. The place is immaculate and in top condition.
The cons were few. Restaurants tend to be pricey, and somewhat limited for families. This tends to be a "grown-up" place and families with little kids could probably find a hotel more suited to their needs. The general commercialism of Cancun is a bit of a turn-off, but it's convenient having stores and transportation nearby.
