Details: The Montgomery Zoo, located South of Northern Boulevard between Lower Wetumpka Road and Coliseum Boulevard, is a short drive from anywhere in Montgomery. There you will find the most exciting zoo in the Southeast, complete with 500 animals representing over 150 species - all in a barrier free, natural environment and divided into continents featuring Australian, Asian, African, and North American realms. Come for a full day and enjoy year round dining at the Overlook Cafe, the Zoo's open air pavilion located in the center of the Zoo and elevated above the animal exhibits.
